Meet the Team at North Peoria Veterinary Hospital

Zena grew up in the Arizona desert and has always had a deep love for animals. Eleven years ago, she decided to pursue a meaningful career in veterinary medicine and began her journey at Pima Medical Institute, where she earned her associate degree in veterinary technology. While working in the field, she became a Certified Veterinary Technician (CVT).

As her career progressed, Zena discovered a passion for learning, development, and leadership, which naturally led her into management roles. She enjoys combining her leadership abilities with her technical skills and veterinary knowledge to support both pets and their owners.

Outside of work, Zena enjoys reading, hiking, and weekend trips up north. She loves spending time with her husband, daughter, and two pets: a Frenchie mix named Jovie and a cat named Rumi.
