"My first impression of this place is great. The vet was very nice, genuine, smart, and I felt that we mattered. I didn't feel rushed. Nice facility. I can't recall the docs name but she is fairly young, brunette, and pretty. I am hopeful it can become our primary vet because it's super close to us and I have 8 dogs often in need of good vet care. I always am needing to be seen right away and they saw me the next day. I really wish everything didn't cost so much, but it's the world we live in today and it's really unfortunate because people struggle to afford vet care and it's the animals that suffer."
"Dr. Hawken and the entire staff are exceptional. They provide the best service I’ve ever experienced. It’s a refreshing change from the overly priced clinics that offer subpar service. They are transparent about their pricing, which is clearly displayed on their website. They don’t pressure you into unnecessary treatments or procedures. I have three dogs, and within a week, I’ve brought all three of them in for various needs."

"Excellent service. Friendly staff, wonderful Dr., clean facility and thoughtful rooms. I really liked that the exam fee is listed on their website!! Right now, your first exam is free, so we walked out only paying for the medication. It was less than $100, but even with the exam fee + medication, it would have been more than reasonable. This is exactly what I’ve been looking for in a vet. I highly recommend."
"My westie had surgery with sedation to remove some masses. We decided to include dental cleaning/examination. Dr called us during surgery to suggest some extractions. All went as discussed before the procedure.
Two weeks later we had a follow up to remove stitches and received a clean bill of health.
Whole process was easy, staff/doctor very friendly, and communication through text was fast and efficient.

"Had to make one of the worst decisions any pet owner has to make, to put our family dog down. We had just moved to the area and had not established care for our dogs, but the staff here were so understanding, warm, empathetic, and caring to not only our dog Bruno but to us the family. The process as hard as it was, was made smooth with the care the staff provided. I will definitely go back for the care of our other pets. Thank you for everything."

"We had a great experience at this vet! Everyone was very friendly, welcoming, and professional from the moment we walked in. They took their time with my Rottweiler, who can be a little nervous and isn’t too fond of meeting new people, and made sure she was treated with patience and kindness. I really appreciated how understanding and gentle everyone was with her instead of rushing through the appointment. It’s clear they genuinely care about their patients and want both pets and owners to feel comfortable. We’re happy to have found a new vet and would definitely recommend them!

"The entire staff is so kind and knowledgeable! The facility is very clean and they were very quick! My dog needed surgery on his mouth and toe amputation and we were seen immediately and were kept well informed about the surgery with no hidden costs. The only thing that did kinda suck was they charge 3% for credit cards - so just a heads up!"
"We rushed our frenchie here on a Friday at 530pm. We called on the way since they were closing soon but they said they would see us anyways. The front desk was so kind, the vet tech looked at our girl as soon as we walked in, we waiting a few minutes in a room and the Dr came in and did an exam and figured out the problem right away. Got us medication and sent us on our way in a timely fashion. Not to mention the whole visit was way cheaper than our other vet that we’ve seen before. Knowing how problematic frenchies can be, I am sure we will need vet services again and North Peoria Vet Hospital will be our first stop from here on out. Thank you so much!"
"I had such a great experience with Dr. Hawken and everyone at the office. My dog had a dental and a mass removed, and they took such good care of him. Dr. Hawken kept me updated throughout everything, which really helped ease my worries. Everyone was so kind and caring, and you could tell they genuinely cared about my dog.

We got a dental with some extractions done for our 12 yr old, and after seeing what a great price it was, we’re scheduling a dental with possible extractions for our 14 yr old. "I would give Dr. Hawken 10 stars if I could—she is truly incredible. I saw her at her previous clinic in Scottsdale, and she was the only vet who properly diagnosed the GI issues my dog had been having for years. My pup had been misdiagnosed several times by our primary vet. When I wanted a second opinion, we happened to get an appointment with Dr. Hawken, who immediately tested for various things that were never mentioned previously by our primary vet and she found the answer. While my dog is still experiencing other issues, I've followed Dr. Hawken to this new clinic since I value her opinion immensely. The staff was beyond friendly and helpful, too."
"I took my cat in for an exam for limping in his hind leg. Dr was very clear and easy to talk with and understand. She didn’t seem to give me a runaround and genuinely seems knowledgeable and like she truly cares. I’m not a fan of franchise or corporate vets and it seems like all the vets on the west side have been bought out and monopolized.
